Best Little Sweeper in Town!

| Works like a charm both on floors and rugs. One of its best features is how easy it is to empty--I hate those yucky filters that you have to pick the debris off of. It has a plastic container that slides out easily so you can just dump it and rinse, if necessary (it'll also pick up wet pieces of cat food!). It has a 30-minute running time before you have to charge it again. I have been looking for this appliance all my life (well, ever since I've had cats, anyway)! I recommended it to a friend who bought one right away--received an email from him--subject line LOVE IT! |

| This V1725 Shark sweeper easily and quickly picks up hay, fecal pellets, bits of cardboard off the floor etc. normally found in a home enjoyed by a happy house rabbit. The sweeper is light in weight and can be picked up with one hand. The dust tray slides out easily with the other hand and its contents emptied simply into the trashcan. |

I bought this for mom, who is 78, when she had wood floors put into her home. She is a very picky when it comes to cleaning and she doesn't like having others do it. She was using her vaccum to clean her throw rug and floor. So I bought this sweeper and she is able to clean the house in a breeze and no more aches or pains afterwards.
I highly recommend this to anyone who is slightly impaired. It is the present she still talks about 1.5 years later. Thanks Euro-pro, I am now the "favorite" one in the family. |
I've had my shark for five years...

I love my shark. My original is almost five years old. I haven't had any battery or handle-breakage issues. The directions state to not leave the unit charging when not in use and to only recharge when the battery is low (you'll be able to tell--it sounds weak.) I use it briefly almost every day and maybe charge it once or twice a month. I've used this through two babies (they sleep right through it whereas my main vacuum wakes them up.) It picks up everything they throw on the floor--cheerios, bits of foods, scraps of paper, etc.
I also have the multi-speed version. It is a little louder, but it has a powered brush roll option--I think I like my original "plain" shark the best. But both are great. They aren't a substitute for a regular powered vacuum, but they get the junk up off the floor and do a good job in between.
FYI--The company website has replacement batteries AND a "contact us" link at the bottom of the webpage: www.sharkvac.com |

I bought the regular Shark sweeper 2 years ago and was so amazed, my aunt went out and bought one for her classroom. I bought one for my best friend for Christmas, my church nursery was so impressed with what I told them that they went out and bought the more spendy version Shark. Yes, it is very quiet and most of the time works perfectly, BUT, the handle keeps breaking. My first one broke after 10 months of use, my best friend is now on her 3rd shark vacuum because you can't buy any other brand where we live. Every Shark handle has broken off at the bottom of the vacuum so you have to push the entire vacuum head around the floor to use it. I am on my 4th Shark vacuum now in less than 2 years. The church nursery's broke after only a few months of use, the handle again. I was so upset I went out and looked for the Swivel Sweeper but couldn't find one so I bought the upscale 2 speed $50 Shark vacuum hoping this handle would work better. Well, it is still "working" but for some reason it is much louder than the other 3 and now it makes a horrible VERY noisy noise which after taking it completely apart to see if something was stuck, still sounds like a 30 year old blender, which defeats the point of late night clean ups after kids are asleep. I have only had this 4 months now. My best friend got a $50 3 speed Shark and it just "died" last month after less than a year. None has lasted more than 10 months with any of us. So for the few months it works, it is everything we wanted in a vacuum, but it is a waste of your money to keep buying them. Now that I am aware of other products out there I'm looking into them, even with a cord would be better than continuing to buy a Shark. And I went to their website to write them an email about all our problems with their products and there isn't a single spot I could find to "contact" their company. Fishy? I thought so too...
Hope this helps |
