A hand vacuum with weak suction is no more than clutter. That’s why the Euro-Pro Mini Turbo Shark vacuum packs a lot of bite into its diminutive form. With 400 watts of power, the unit delivers a surprising amount of suction, so it’s a great tool to have on hand in the kitchen, garage, shop, or office. It makes quick work of dry spills and debris and can also be used for dusting in nooks and crannies with the included attachments. One thing to note: 400 watts of power does come at a price, and this hand vacuum is no kitten. The sound is not especially unpleasant--it’s just loud--but you probably won’t be able to crank it on if the baby is sleeping.

Easy to manipulate, the vacuum has a comfortable handle and a simple rocker power switch. The bagless dirt collection cup pops off easily for emptying, and the interior filter is washable. Conversion to attachment cleaning is also straightforward--the flexible hose, crevice tool, and brush fit snugly into the Shark’s oval mouth. About the size of a youth football, the hand vac measures 8-1/4 inches long, nose to tail, and stands 5-1/2 inches high and 3-3/4 inches wide. I've been using the shark for at least nine months and it works like a dream. Having read the other reviews... anyone who tries to clean a house with a hand vac is nuts and anyone who tries to use the thing to suck up lots of anything (dirt, food, ants) will have to clean out the filter eventually so deal with it... granted the small plastic attachments are small and plastic, but that should really be exptected for the price and if you use them appropriately they'll last longer and make the task easier... the only real downside here is that it has a cord, which isn't really that big a deal and means that the vac is consistently powerful and you don't have to worry about a battery needing to be recharged.... I used to have a small dustbuster that was several times more expensive and couldn't compare to this... give it a whirl and experiment with the attachments, treat it nicely and it will reciprocate...

Great price for a small vacuum that is also powerful. The loud noise gives it a powerful feeling. Very handy in my garage to vaccuum my car's carpets. Love it
Little Shark - Big Bark

I got my shark as part of a promotion and forgot it was coming until it arrived at my door. I've been very pleasantly surprised. I've used it everyday since it arrived. It's picks up the dog food my messy dog leaves on the kitchen floor and is great for sucking up dust and dirt in window seals, shelves and corners my big vac can't reach. I love it. The only down side - my dog thinks it's eating her food and won't stop barking at it!

I bought this at a Amazon Friday sale at $7.99. I found it's excellent. It's very small and powerful. I don't think it's too loud with the consideration of its strong power. As it's small, it's light to carry around to clean the home. It's also easy to store. Even at its original price, i think it's worth to buy one. And when you wanna clean the carpet, you need to use the brush head provided. It will help brushing out the dust and hair. I found it's useful to clean my carpet as it works even better than my big vacuum.

THe thing is so small, even smaller than i expected, only slightly bigger than an iron press. Whereas, not like some reviewers said, its suction force is really strong. The dust cup is pretty easy to clean, even though it's also easy to fill up.

Anyway, it's worth the price.
